We had a truly horrible mouse infestation in our garden shed, that had been partly, but not entirely addressed by another provider. Called Max, and cannot say enough good about him. He is someone who looks at the big picture, makes experience-based recommendations, and completes work efficiently, including, in our case, going above and beyond. Our shed is entirely made of wood. He efficiently assessed and completed the needed prep work, identified all possible mouse entry points, and was very creative in blocking them. Although unrelated to the mouse problem, he caulked where needed to keep insects out. And, he identified a completely unrelated problem with the shed roof, and took care of that as well. Service providers like Max are pure gold.

This is our third project with NRX Landscaping, which alone should indicate the high regard in which we hold them and their meticulous work. This time we wanted to put a cedar shed in a back corner of the property where grade posed a real challenge. They successfully built a secure, stable pad, and also assembled the shed for us. The result reflects their usual professionalism and methodical approach. We love it. The other request we had was to extend a garden space integrated with the patio they build for us previously. We wanted to add a small tree and additional perennials. To do this required careful excavation, loads of triple mix to replace the removed, poor quality soil, and repositioning of the pavers where the flowerbed meets the patio. The result is exactly what we had envisioned, and they will return once the soil has settled to add some stepping stones. In spite of a very rainy Spring, NRX was able to maintain schedule, find solutions to challenges, and produce, as they always do, sound, aesthetically pleasing results. They are a pleasure to work with, always pleasant, professional, and creative. We are already discussing another small, follow-on project with them.

Two years ago we hired NRX to replace our patio and the walkway along the side of the house, and to install a french drain. We were so pleased with the result that this year we asked them to come back to replace our front veranda and driveway, as well as to install a second french drain. They did a superb job - hand selecting stone slabs for the veranda and carefully matching the veneer for its walls to the stone work on the front of the house. The result is so much nicer, and more spacious than the original! They replaced the asphalt driveway with interlocking pavers to match the patio and walkway. As the pavers came from different dye lots, being two years apart, they took extra steps to blend the old and new seamlessly. You really cannot tell where one ends and the other starts. We are delighted, have received many compliments, and two other homes on the street have now hired NRX as well.

NRX Landscaping replaced an old walkway and two-level patio with beautiful results. The neighbours have taken notice and there has been a parade of people: those who know us have come to see, and those who don't peer up from the sidewalk as they pass by. Some who have seen the results have have requested quotes. Nick and Rocco have true pride of workmanship, are friendly while always professional, open and solution-oriented as things come up. We are thrilled, so much so we hope to have them back to replace our old stone porch and driveway.
