Paul inspected the house in June of 2015, we moved in Nov of 2015. During the first rain water was observed in 8 windows. He did come back to look at the issue and was asked why he did not catch the issue of water damage damage. Looking the various window frames and window coverings it was obvious there was water damage along the windows. Contractors that came in to look at the damage were asking why the home inspector did not catch this. Now some $19,000 later, including a lot work done by me to reduce cost the leak source has been determined and corrected. Paul was not helpful and would not recommend him.

Hi Nader,
I'm very sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience with your home. We take great pride and responsibility for the work we do. Your home inspection was done over two years ago and was done to the full home inspection standards of practice as outlined by the Home Inspection Association of BC and the BC consumer protection. We did an infrared scan and moisture meter scan of your home, including the windows. This was completed with you present at the time of the inspection. There were no deficiencies noted AND we proactively told you that window areas should be maintained regularly. A full investigation was done when you informed me of these new deficiencies both by independent contractors and our association. As per our previous conversations, you and the association deemed us to be not at fault. While I am sorry you are going through a difficult time, I am certain this was not due to the proficient home inspection conducted and I wish you all the best in your home.
