There was miscommunication about the arrival time. The technician thought he had called to confirm that it was okay to arrive earlier, but in fact, he had dialed the wrong number. Luckily, I was home to receive the technician 4 hours earlier than my scheduled time. Aside from this, I was glad that the technician was able to diagnose the problem in under a minute and fix the burner. I'm happy to have gone with a certified Wolf Range technician and not a general gas stove technician.
