New house, all windows fit wonderful and operate smooth! Once we cleaned everything months later and started getting some light back due to living up north we started noticing dirt that was unable to be removed. We purchased triple pane windows throughout (around 23 large ones) and noticed the middle pane was dirty. We could actually see the suction cups used during manufacturing on the middle pane. We contacted the company and a service man came out and started doing his assessment, a large number of them need replacement. He came back 6 weeks later with half of them to replace and some of those had dirty centre panes. Now we are waiting another 6 weeks for the replacements on the replacements as well as the others. We also had problems with our exterior fiberglass doors, for some reason the moldings appeared to have paint over spray on them and a sliding one was bent. I don't want to leave this as a strictly negative comment though, ordering, value, customer service I believe are all great with special thanks to the field guy how is making many trips out but QC inside the plant could be brought to a higher level.
- Approximate cost of services:
- $28,000.00
- What could this company do to improve their services?
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes should be adhered to.
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- When receiving windows wash and inspect them right away, AAW have no issues with it being months later and replacing them but I would have simply sent them all back to begin with.
