Happy to take our $$$... follow up on issues non-existent!
We had the entire back wall of our home (7 sliders + 12 windows) replaced in 2016. The reason we had any of the windows replaced in the first place is because we had a leak in one of the basement windows. We had 3 or 4 different companies come in and quote. To start we both felt Daniel was very personable and was the only company to suggest changes to open up our amazing views. It took longer than we anticipated to start the installation (approximately 8 weeks) and we had to stare as scaffolding for this time, but we had a lot of windows to manufacture so we let it slide. The installation team was really great. They showed up bright and early each morning and worked very hard all day. They did a really great job. Some of our windows are MASSIVE! It took two weeks to complete everything and there were a few hiccups (wrong sized windows made, unaligned transoms that needed to be remade and one glass panel got broke in transit so we lived with plywood for 2+ weeks). We did not get the correct screens for some of the doors but after unanswered emails we gave up and are using what we were given. The latest issue is that the initial window leak was still leaking following a rain storm last fall and again this spring with all the rain we have had. After many emails to Daniel with unanswered promises we got someone else in who took care of the problem. NOT impressed at all with the after market service at all! We would not recommend this company especially if you have issues after the fact!

Hi Kelly as the owner of the company I wish to extend our deepest apologies for any inconvenience you have experienced. As you can see we have not one other poor review here in Homestars and will definitely strive to learn from any shortcomings we may have suffered from on your follow up service. As you know we have been to your home since your review was posted and tried to correct your issues.
Theresa did send you an email asking if the situation had improved and we have not heard any response which I am hoping is a sign that all is ok with the water infiltration.Please understand the whole back your house is facing lake Ontario and the house is less than 100 meters from the shoreline. Your home experiences full force winds off the lake and driving rain making your home very different form what most homes experience weather wise.
Installation was not easy as you mentioned with the extra high back wall and huge windows to install in a wind prone environment did prove to have its challenges.
