TMC Restoration did a fantastic job in restoring an old dining table for us. This dining table was gifted to us by a friend almost 30 years ago when they had to leave the country. We used it for a couple of years and then had to put it in storage as we too were leaving the country to work in Asia. When we returned almost five years ago the table was put in use again, but because of its dark colour and having dents and cracks here and there, I was thinking of getting rid of it. But my husband always had a love for it and wanted to have it restored. We found TMC Restoration at their booth at the Stouffville Home Show. Robert, TMC's representative came to our house to inspect the table, and convinced us that it was made of high quality solid wood and definitely worthwhile to have it restored. Robert explained their meticulous restoration process in great detail, how TMC's workmanship and services stand out from other companies, so we decided to give the table a new life. Tino, who is responsible for customer service was a delight to work with. He was very efficient in handling the logistics after the table was picked up. He opened our eyes to the true beauty of the table - its natural wood colour which is much lighter, and the grain which was never visible before due to the dark painted colour. What's more, Tino and his colleague Guy gave us valuable information on the type of wood that our dining table was made of, the characteristics of the wood, and its design style. It is reassuring that such information came from the TMC Restoration expert team. The delivery team was also very helpful in the pick up, delivery as well as disassemble and reassemble of the table. We are very very happy with the work that TMC Restoration has done. The dining table is now a centre piece in our dining room, and will definitely stay with us for many more years to come.

Today was a winter morning and we woke up to dripping sound coming from the roof. Upon inspecting the attic we discovered a big hole on the roof, as a ventilation hood was blown off. I searched on HomeStars for a roofing company with good review. C Plus Roofing was my choice. I called and left a message. Jacky called me back very quickly. After describing the problem to him, he told me he can be at my home before noon. It was an emergency as there was only a constrained time with suitable weather for repair - freezing rain and snow were expected in the afternoon. Jacky arrived on time. Fixed my roof. I am very relieved and a happy customer.

We were having two problems with water in our house - cold water in our shower and high water bill. For a household of two our water bill was close to $300 and that was worrying - must be water leakage somewhere. Not having worked with any plumber before, I looked to Homestars to read their reviews hoping to find a plumber who is reliable. I read the many good reviews of Dima Plumbing and decided to give them a call. On the phone, John already deciphered the cold water problem - the dip tube in the hot water tank must be broken. He suggested me to have it replaced. Since the tank is rented, Reliance took care of that and it was an easy solution. Upon John's visit to solve the water leakage problem, he was able to find the problem within 5 minutes - leakage from the water filter. It turned out that the automatic shut off was broken and water was continuously leaking from a small tube into the ground drain which I didn't even know exists. I am very impressed with John's knowledge and expertise. He helped me to solve two problems which had been bothering us for months. John is an absolute professional. I have already recommended him to one of my friends, and will continuous to do so if I hear anyone who unfortunately experiences water problem in their house.
