replace taps above laundry tub
I needed to have the taps above the laundry tub replaced as they were leaking. The service man was very friendly and helpful and explained fully what he had done. He obviously took pride in his job. The only compaint I have is that the cost of the repair was higher than I anticipated. The taps are worth about $50 and I paid another $150 plus for the service which I thought was high considering I have the plumbing coverage. I believe I probably paid about the same that someone would if they didn't have the plumbing coverage.
- Approximate cost of services:
- $225.00
- What could this company do to improve their services?
- I think the cost of repair should be explained more fully rather than just being told that you have to pay for any parts. Since my parts cost $50.00 or so, I paid $197 for parts and labour. Since it was around a half hour job, I paid around $150 for labour and this is with the plumbing coverage. I believe this is way too much.
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- I suggest people check out the cost of plumbers first before entering into the plumbing contract.
