I had to replace the circular ceiling LEDs in my apartment after they stopped working, and I found Chris here on Homestars due to his excellent rating/reviews. I got into contact with him and was able to arrange an appointment on short notice. He showed up on time, identified the problem immediately and told me what all of my options were, going through the prices of each. After I selected the option I wanted, he was available on short notice to take care of the problem, showed up on time again and fixed the issue quickly and competently. I also had several other questions for him about other electrical issues that came up, and he helped me find solutions to those as well. At all times he was extremely pleasant to deal with, professional, and competent, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needed an electrician.

I contacted Marko a few weeks ago about a list of repairs my apartment needed before I could sell it. He responded immediately and was available to come on short notice for me as time was a factor. Marko was able to deal with every single thing that I asked him to do, even as the requirements changed, as they always do with this sort of thing, where new issues come up and so on, but Marko was always able to suggest a solution and implement it. He showed up on time, was always neat and tidy, and was extremely pleasant to deal with. He even managed to re-arrange his schedule a few times to fit my timetable, which I appreciated tremendously, and I found it easy to contact him via text, e-mail or phone, despite him being busy. The final product of all the work was superb. He did everything from drywall to caulking to shoe mold installation to wood repairs to door and cabinet re-seating to woodwork (building a frame around the laundry alcove so that the doors would fit around the new washer/dryer) to installing various things like door knobs and metal stripping around the stove. His suggestions were always appropriate and he even pointed out a few things to me that I could improve on, or where I could save money. I can't recommend Marko enough, his prices are very reasonable, he does the work and he does it well, he's a very pleasant guy to deal with, he showed up on time, and he always found a solution to every problem. I researched a number of companies on here and elsewhere, looking to comparison shop, especially as I had little experience in replacing floors. After contacting them all and getting their quotes, I decided to go with Torontonian Flooring because of their track record of excellent reviews. Mike always responded immediately to my questions and concerns, performed a site visit in advance to make sure the job would go smoothly, and was honest with me from the start about the job price, duration and details. I know I wasn't always the easiest client to deal with, but he always responded attentively and immediately to my concerns and I appreciated it. He made every effort to accommodate my schedule, provided lots of useful information about the process, and, perhaps most importantly, he and his team did a really wonderful job, making sure that every part of every room would look as good as possible. They even made sure to clean up the hallway outside my unit, to make sure everything was done right. They performed the work on the day they said he would, in the time they said it would actually take, and even helped me save money in the process. If you are thinking about re-doing your floors, and you want a company that is both honest and highly skilled, I'd definitely recommend Torontonian Flooring.

When I called Advanced Plumbing I explained the general issue I was experiencing and they immediately diagnosed the problem (a malfunctioning thermal expansion tank). I called late in the afternoon but they were able to schedule me early for the next day. George showed up on time and I showed him the situation and explained the details to him, and he answered all of my questions, including a few about unrelated plumbing issues. Before beginning any work he explained the price to me and after we discussed how to proceed, he set about fixing the problem diligently, installing a larger thermal expansion tank, making sure the pressure was set correctly, building a mounting solution to support its weight, and then testing the result to make sure it worked. He was able to resolve a problem in only a few hours that I had had for over a month, and stayed to make sure that everything was working correctly before he left. His work was tidy, efficient, and most importantly, effective. I would definitely recommend Advanced Plumbing for your plumbing needs, from beginning to end they were pleasant, helpful, clear, prompt, and professional.

He guided me through neutralizing the problem over the phone, then followed up the next day to set up an appointment to come and take a look at it right away. He arrived on-time and quickly diagnosed the problem and suggested a solution, giving me several options and explaining them to me. He provided me with the pricing beforehand, and he had the parts available and was able to take care of the work quickly and effectively. Throughout it all he was courteous, professional and extremely pleasant. He answered all of my questions and gave me some quite good advice about how to improve my set-up even further. I would definitely recommend him to anyone else looking for an electrician.
