The contractor/owner came, looked at all the work said he'd call, then nothing. I called several times, no returned calls. Two weeks later a man called claiming to work for contractor and came over said he could do all the work and started the following Mon. He charged professional rates. The drywall fixes were good. He should never have started the tiling in the bathroom. My tub has shifted so it creaks when you step in. It cannot be used as it is. The 10 inch tiles are cut to about 2 inches at the ceiling because he didn't measure. He installed a tile around the copper plumbing pipe by using his grinder and making a large U shape in the top of the tile which was going to show and he said he'd fix it with grout. I made him take it off, and I had to buy the tool to cut the holes. He cut my custom countertop and cracked and chipped it at the front. I had to replace it and he took the broken one home. Although the owner is a good guy, he should take a minute to confirm that he sent people to represent him and he didn't. He finally returned my call yesterday after I asked the guy to not return. I should not have been charged for professional services when everything but the drywall needs to be fixed now by a professional. I've had a very expensive and bad experience. It has been more than a little upsetting. Oh, this man didn't even bring his own tool box in, just used mine on some of the days. Professional?
