Repairing A Leaking Water Pipe Between Floors
Much to our surprise we discovered water seeping through our ensuite ceiling and were able to determine that it only occurred when someone was showering on the third floor of our calgary infill. The job necessitated cutting a large portion of the bathroom ceiling drywall, cutting and replacing the defective plumbing elbow and then repairing and painting the bathroom ceiling. I certainly had some of the smaller handyman tools in my toolbox buy had never dealt with cutting, tapping and plastering drywall. I found the staff of Home Depot on 16th Avenue NW to be very courteous, patient and helpful. They laid out the steps to the drywall repair, gathered all of the materials I would need and showed me how to use the necessary tools to effect a near-professional look to the finished project. I guess the first cut into the bathroom ceiling was the scariest!! What appeared to be a daunting task at the beginning soon became an approachable job that did not have me second-guessing my abilities. Thanks guys!!
