Terin and Real Canadian Electric completed a full electrical panel replacement fo run recently. We've had many contractors through our house over the years and Terin is the first I would be willing to recommend to anyone completely without reservation. Their work was professional, quick, and fairly priced. Terrin obviously understands the electrical world thoroughly and performed the work we were looking to get done very conscientiously, always making sure we were fully aware of what he was going to do, when he was going to do it, and how long it would take. In particular he made sure everything was clean and tidy after his work was finished; in stark contrast to the other contractors we had in our house at the time that left all kinds of mess inside and out. Excellent service from Rush Roofing under challenging conditions! We had an old freestanding potbelly stove in the middle of our living room that we wanted to remove, including the 12" double wall chimney pipe that went right up through the ceiling and roof. We had some renovation work going on in the interior and needed to get that chimney removed and the roof repaired. I was planning on doing the chimney removal myself to save some $$'s, but when I went up into the attic I found it wasn't as easy as I expected and that the chimney would need to be removed from the outside. The interior contractor needed the chimney gone within 2 days so he could complete his work. So here I am with 2 days notice to find a roofing company with a crew free to do an annoying little chimney removal and repair job on short notice. And of course this was also during Calgary's cold snap in December 2016. So there's a foot of snow on the roof and the temperature is below -30 with the windchill. I ended up giving Peter Janzen a call at Rush Roofing who I had met a couple times years ago and who was a friend of my brother in law. I gave Peter a description of the work I was looking to get done over the phone and he was back to me within an hour or two with a price (which was lower than I expected) and confirmation that he had a crew available to complete the work within my 2 day window. Two days later I got home from the office and the work was all complete. Chimney was gone, roof sheathing and shingles all repaired with a perfect match on the colour. And it was still near that -30 temperature mark the day the crew went up on the roof to do the work. Very pleased with all aspects of my experience with Rush Roofing, from the initial contact and coordination with Peter, to the pricing and right through to the execution of the work. Highly recommend these guys!
