I bought Faber chimney hood fan from them in Feb 2014 and now 2 years later, it has stopped working. I didn't buy extended warranty because I expected something worth close to $1000 to last longer. Besides why would a chimney die so early when the filters were cleaned regularly. Now Trail wants to charge $ 89.95 as call out charge and $24 for every 15 minutes for diagnosis in addition to part replacement and labour for repair. Please beware of buying Faber products as no one in Calgary repairs them( I have made more than 10 calls to see if someone could do it for me. So you are again stuck with Trail) . It's a no win situation for customer. I would never recommend Faber to anyone from my exprience. If you want peace of mind, go to other warehouse stores which have longer warranties .
