It's along list... I'll keep it short. New Era made an error quoting the job (quoted $800+ less than their final bill) and then wouldn't match a (properly quoted) competitors price. Not recommended.

I'm so sorry your final bill came in higher than your original estimate. We do our absolute best to ensure accurate estimates by coming to your home for the quoting process, going over all factors of your move to ensure any foreseeable delays are accounted for in your estimate and always keeping open lines of communication open so any changes on either side can be discussed prior.
Of course, we're human and do make mistakes sometimes. We haven't heard anything from you regarding the pace or work ethic of our movers which tells me the service you received was satisfactory at minimum.
You were compensated 20% off your final bill on account of the mistake on your estimate.
We DON'T low ball our quotes in some fake attempt to lure people in. This was an honest mistake proven by the substantial discount you received.
While you may not feel your experience was 10 stars, I do think your rating is unfair and hope you will take a moment to reconsider your rating.
