An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
Over the past several years, my family has dealt with Delco Renovations for two different projects. The first was an extention of our backyard patio. We were very pleased with the results and again used Delco this past fall to remove and replace tiles in our entry hall and completely renovate our downstairs bathroom. In both projects with Delco, Ken MacKinnon was the supervisor. We found Ken to be exceptionally easy to work with and the work done to be of both good quality and as we had requested. Ken was invaluable in offering suggestions and advice while not pushing his ideas on us. At the start of the project, he gave a detailed estimate of the costs and never went over it. The craftsmen he brought in to do the work were excellent. Came when they said they would, cleaned up before they left leaving our home spotless. When Ken said something would be done, it always was and within the time frame promised. Ken was very visible throughout both projects overseeing all of the work that was being done. The work was all we wished for, within the estimates, and completed on time. In both cases, we were very pleased with the results and we will use Delco again for our next renovation project.
