I decided this year to renovate my basement and set out to get quotes. I decided on finished basements and I'm glad I did. This is probably the most seamless renovation I've ever gone through. Joe started the process off on the right foot by showing up to give me a quote during a snow storm. This was amazing as many companies I contacted never bothered to show up to provide the quote and this was on days when there were no weather issues. Everyone I dealt with at finished basements was amazing. From Joe who answered all my questions during the renovation process to all the different trades (sorry I can't remember all the names) to Natalie who was great during the design meeting and provided some much needed guidance on colours and materials, and Igor who walked me through the project before the renovation and after to ensure all was done properly. They all worked like a well oiled machine and for that I say thank you.

My garage door died I checked this website for reviews and found Steve from Maple Leaf Garage Doors. I called him. He provided me with insight as to what the possible problem could be and made an appointment with me for the end of the week. When he arrived he checked the opener, explained the problem and gave me the option to fix or replace and gave me the pros and cons of fix. I chose replace based on the age of the existing door opener. He came very close to the time he said and completed the job in a timely manner. I would use Steve again and I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Steve.

I had the flexible silver looking venting from my dryer and knew this type could be a fire hazard so for this reason I started looking for a company that would replace my dryer vent with the proper type of rigid metal vent. After much looking I came across Dryer Vent Wizard and Tyler (owner). I sent Tyler an email and he got back to me the same day. I made an appointment. Tyler showed up right on time. Tyler did the initial assessment then sat down with me to discuss the work required and the cost. I decided to go ahead with the work and was presently surprised that Tyler was able to do the work right away. I did not have to book another appointment. He removed and disposed of the old vent line and vent cover and did the installation. He at every point showed me what he had done and I was very happy with the end result. Most importantly this company provides a service that is greatly lacking...dryer vent line installation. My search showed me that even though there is much information on the flexible vent lines being unsafe there are very few companies (read none that I could find before this one) that focuses on this type of service. So glad that dryer vent wizard is filling the void. Thanks Tyler!
