The branches on our smoke bushes grew 10-15 feet per year. We needed two arborist reports to recommend removing them (1 on our property, 1 on our neighbour's) and Chris did a great job. The city gave us permission to remove them based on the reports. Chris then came and removed them including using a chainsaw and a stump grinder. Chris is a true pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Glenwood.

We had the pleasure of hiring THIG again – the last time for home repairs – this time with their Perfect Painters division for outside painting. I felt badly for the staff at home office, given poor weather with rain they had to reschedule numerous times. The first set of painters did a great job but missed filling in a crack the first time around on the front step. THIG went above and beyond to make sure that the crack was filled and repainted. Our front and back porch look perfect. They are exceptional – head office, the project managers, the handymen and the painters. You don’t need to go anywhere else.

We are very very pleased with the work that Charlie and Benny provided us. The kitchen looks much better with the new grout and silicone and we can now access things in the cupboard under the sink. We no longer need to use masking tape to seal the cracks in the upstairs bathroom! The new and old door look great. Charlie tried and is still searching for a replacement window crank! And Benny has suggested a workaround for the master bedroom bed frame. Charlie was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done, giving great suggestions for future work. Melanie was also very patient in explaining the invoice! We made sure to request a sign for outside, we'll recommend Charlie and The Home Improvement Group to neighbours, and we look forward to exploring getting the exterior work done at a later date.
