I can say many great things about Ashlar crew. Professional, detail oriented, etc. Anyone can get the quality of work they do from other reviews. I take that for granted. What was super impressive to me was the fact that they really stand behind their work. I had the patio work done last year in May. Over the course of the last winter, some of the stones moved. I called Daimon and explained what happened. He sent his crew a week later and fixed it, no questions asked. No one blamed harsh winter or dozens of other reasons that caused them to move. Just came in and made it right. If only all other business worked like that...

We contacted Ecowoods to help us with a problem that other companies did not want to deal with. We took two wall down to create open concept kitchen, joining dining room and a lounge area. Other companies did not want to do it because matching and joining old floor with the new seamlessly is a difficult task and. Cody (Francesco's partner) was more than happy to take on the job. In just one day he beautifully matched and joined both floors. It's been a couple of month and i can't even remember where the joins are. Great job.

I've called around a few listed companies to help me to finish an Ikea kitchen that i installed myself. I got to the point were i needed a professional to install cover panels and trim pieces. Dimitry was the only one that was willing to take on a job that someone else had started(being me). Since i didn't know how i wanted to finish it yet, we decide on on hourly fee. Dimitry was kind enough to work after hours on my house, as it was a small job for him to dedicate to it full time. Dimitry loves what he does and in his mind, there's no job is too small or too big. Watching Dimitry work was fantastic. Knowing that a stranger was working on my house with such commitment was very comforting. Had i found Dimitry earlier, i probably would've hired him to do the entire installation. I'm not showing what the hourly fee was, because it wouldn't be fair to both Dimitry and the reader, since it would vary on a job and.

About a week before Christmas our furnace broke down. We had to get it fixed quickly since we have a new born. After reading a few reviews on the site we've called a selected few companies for a quote. Everyone we called told us they can't do it so quickly. Only Dave understood that we're not just some anal clients that want everything 'now, now, now'. We were just parents concerned about our baby's health. Dave came over next day and assessed the problem with our furnace. After estimating the repair costs, we decided that it wasn't worth spending $500 on a 20 year-old furnace. We decided that we'd like to install a new furnace. Dave took his time explaining what our options were on the furnace type as well as the installation options. He suggested what we should get, how we should install it, and most importantly, why. Dave was kind enough to move his schedule around to fit us in and got the new furnace installed 2 days later. Dave help us go through energy audit to get the government tax rebate as well. Dave and his team are rockstars to us.

We wanted to do a simple kitchen back-splash with a tile we already purchased. I tried a few people from Homestars. Milorad was by far the most professional of them all, so we decided to go ahead with him without seeing other guys' quotes. A bit risky, but we had a good feeling. The cost was very reasonable for the quality of work. Milorad spent more time than he estimated, but stayed true to his quote. Great work. Super clean and, again, very professional. We already asked him to do out bathroom.
