Edson, Tony and team did an excellent job on our floor. We had our 1,100 sqft chalet recently built and were not satisfied with the builder's power-trowelled concrete finish. We hired Unique Touch to grind and polish the builder's finish and the results were like night and day. Edson and Tony were very professional and responsive to every question, from start to finish. Understandably, we were skeptical of redoing our floors and spending more money for fear that we would just get the same thing or little improvement. This is where Edson and Tony shined. They strongly recommended that we see their previous jobs at Vaughan Mills and other places and not to rely on any photos, including theirs (as Edson said, photos don't give you an accurate representation and this was our mistake with the builder. My advice to anyone reading this is to see previous projects for yourself and not rely on photos). Edson wanted to make sure we saw what their finished floors look like. Once we did and were OK'd it, Tony drove up to Blue Mountain to look at the state of our floors and then grinded/polished a small area to check if our floors can transform into what we were now expecting. I can't say enough about this preliminary step, and level of service. They strongly recommended this step and it gave us full confidence in them and in what we would get. Edson and Tony wanted to make sure we were comfortable with that before starting and committing. Who else does this? Very rare and wish there were more contractors like this. Also, they had to do the job after we took ownership of the chalet, with brand new appliances, painted walls, bathtub, kitchen, etc already in place. The floors came out fantastic and exactly as we expected, with polishing right up against the walls and corners, without damaging any of our finishes. The team was top notch and I would recommend them to anyone.

Moise designed and installed two beautiful radiator covers for me. For the front door, I wasn’t sure what kind of radiator cover to put beside the front door, but it needed to cover the radiator and also provide storage for shoes. Moise came in and designed what is really a furniture piece. He built the radiator cover into the wall, cutting and tightly fitting it around the existing wainscoting and baseboards. It’s a clean 3 panel cover, but one of them is actually a door to the shoe storage. When closed, it looks like a 3 panel radiator cover. It has neatened up the front of the house. The bedroom radiator cover is also very beautiful. Both are sprayed, so the finish has a furniture quality finish. The price was reasonable and I highly recommend Moise. He spent a lot of time with me offering suggestions and made sure it’s what I wanted.

We gutted our basement and general contracted all the trades ourselves. We hired Rob and his crew to install and tape all walls and ceiling, and it was the easiest part (from the general contractor's point of view). Rob was always availabe before and during the job (didn't need to contact him after since the end result is excellent). Rob was competitive, courteous, on-time, and without excuses. I would recommend Rob for any drywall job.
