As a recent home buyer, it was determined in our house inspection that the cedar shingles at the front of our house would last for approx. less than a year and the asphalt shingles 2-3 years left. There were also other issues that existed due to neglect from the previous owner. This was to be a large and expensive job and therefore we needed to find the right roofing company to do this job.
In a day where I had three roofing companies come to the home to provide quotes, Steve Washbrook from Context was the most professional taking digital photos, comprehensive measurements and drawings and willing to negotiate the price for our comprehensive renovation. They were even patient when at the last minute I had to delay the signing of the contract when the vendor of the home changed a pre-arranged visit to the property and other issues due to the closing of the sale of the home.
Once work began, the various crews that they sent to the house were professional, polite, and worked very hard to get the job done efficiently and effectively from the beginning to the end.
The only issue that arose was there was slight damage from 3 roofing nails that went through the drywall in one of the skylights but the company from the owner down was proactive and arranged to have the issue remedied immediately after I made them aware of it.
I have subsequently recommended this Company to one other recent home buyer and would not hesitate to do this again in the future. I have even arranged through them to broker a new wrought iron railing with another company and this work will begin within the next month. We have received several compliments from our new neighbors and we definitely feel we went with the right roofing company.
