Mike was contracted to level an interlock walkway that settled unevenly, correct a retaining wall that was coming loose and level landings part of stairs leading to main entrance. After 5 WEEKS we only have a poorly laid walkway that isn't even level. He quit the job when we objected to the retaining wall be crooked which it wasn't before, only loose, and the landings being completely unlevelled and unsafe. The stones are completely loose and come off when stepped on. The retaining wall was never finished and our driveway is damaged from all the polymeric sand that was never cleaned up and the dents from the dumpster. The contract never mentioned he only worked weekends and that's when he would show up. He only showed 5 out of 10 days, late and left early. He destroyed our lawn and left us to clean up heavy stones left scattered even on the neighbours property. I have video of the mess he left and his unprofessionalism. He does not care that he left our stairway unusable and dangerous for the postal worker, our children or guests.

Sodding is my favourite home improvement project because it's the lowest investment for the BIGGEST impact! Greg at Niko's Gardening won me over with this friendliness and turf covered fan :) I have sodded before and I was looking for a company that would do the job for a fair price but just as important with a crew that was respectful and appreciative of the work. I do not want to feel like I have to oversee the crew because I don't think they'll do a good job. Niko's Gardening came through with a great bunch of guys who paid attention to detail and my favourite TIDIED up afterwards. I was so pleased with the project I shared a video of the work on my Instagram.
