I just wanted to take some time to talk about my experience with Ash as my furnace recently needed replacement. I had the pleasure of working with Ash a few years back when I thought I needed my A/C replaced. At that time and upon my request he came with a new A/C unit, but upon inspection he concluded that the existing unit didnt need to be replaced, ended up performing a tune-up and it has worked since. Im sure a more unscrupulous person would have just installed the new A/C as I am sure it would have been more lucrative! I decided to contact Ash in September as I wanted to do annual maintenance on my A/C and Furnace. When he came to do the maintenance, he alerted me that my current Carrier Furnace had a part under recall (I believe it was the heat exchanger) He went through the options, and I decided to just replace the furnace as it was almost 20 years old and I was planning on replacing soon anyways. Ash did an excellent job of outlining all of the options and pricing for potential new furnaces, and I ended up deciding on a Carrier 59TP6. What I appreciated the most was that Ash was agreeable to have the furnace installed on a Saturday (by Raj and team) this helped a lot since my wife and I both work full time. One thing I will note is that when Raj arrived and unpacked the furnace unit, he noticed that it was slightly damaged (due to warehouse workers most likely) Raj informed me that he is going to drive back to the warehouse (over an hour away!) and get a brand new undamaged furnace unit to install (on a Saturday no less) I feel this speaks to the honesty and integrity of the team. Install of this new unit went very smooth. Ash did inform me at the time that there was a rebate available for this unit, and I recently received the full rebate amount, no muss no fuss, he took care of everything. I am (again!) very satisfied with FairDeal Heating & A/C, both with the level of professionalism and service. I found Ash to be very honest throughout all my contact with him, and would highly recommend him should you need some HVAC work done or are in need of advice.

We had Paul complete an entire main floor renovation with us, and we had a fantastic experience. The main scope of the work included gutting/demoing the entire main level, structural wall removal, brand new kitchen design and install, new flooring, painting, new trim everywhere, remove popcorn ceiling, install new lighting and new electrical, accent wall in powder room, install gas line for BBQ outside. When we initially were getting quotes for the job, the timeline Paul provided was at least a few weeks shorter than other contractors, and the price was comparable. The job was completed on schedule and on budget. This renovation was for the house we recently moved into, and unfortunately the previous owners had done some non-permitted structural work to the basement that we were not aware of and that needed to be addressed. Paul was able to bring all structural work to code (new beam posts/footings in basement) Paul was willing to work with us every step of the way. We appreciated that he (with help from Slav) did the majority of the work, and that he showed up everyday (even some Saturdays) to complete the work in a timely manner, as we have a young daughter and were staying with my in-laws during the reno. I appreciated that Paul was very responsive when we texted/called, he got back to us right away. He gave us his recommendations throughout the project, and communication was never a problem. Should we decide to do any other renovations down the line, we won't hesitate to contact Paul.

We needed our top floor parquet removed and replaced with engineered hardwood, after doing some research on homestars I found Invision Hardwood and Décor and decided to check it out. Upon contacting Dov, I quickly found him to be very thorough and knowledgeable, and friendly as well. He provided a quote, and we decided to move forward. The project involved removing the old parquet flooring, replacing all baseboard and door trim, removing stair nosing and raising it to meet the height of the new flooring, securing the subfloor and installing the new flooring. They completed the project within a few days and did a fantastic job, we are very happy with the work. My only criticism would be that the total price of the job came in at about 8% higher than the original quote, but for the quality of work and timeliness of the project it’s a minor criticism, we would happily work with Dov and his team again.

Job was quick and the process was communicated effectively. Would recommend to family and friends
