He was prompt and quickly determined that weatherproofing would solve the issue. A second appointment was set and Andy came out and did the weatherproofing in less than an hour. The job was done well and my tenant assures me the unit is now warm and cozy.
I contacted Mark from Beautiful View for a quotation on repairing a screen door. 1) Mark's price was the least expensive of all of the companies I contacted; 2) Most companies told me that it was their 'off season' and that they do not typically do this kind of repairs this time of the year, however, Mark had no problem coming out as soon as the next day!; 3) He arrived right on time and fixed my screen door beautifully! While Mark was there, I asked him to look at something else, as I thought that it might be something that he also specializes in. Even though it was not, he gave me advice on what the least expensive way would be to fix the item, plus took the time to give me the details and take the measurements of the item, in order for me to be able to just buy the specific part instead of getting someone out to repair it at a higher cost. I would highly recommend Mark to anybody and will not hesitate to make use of his services again in future.

This may be the off season for window screen repair work but I understand that there are special circumstances where this work is still required regardless of it being winter. (rental properties, home selling, etc.)
My dishwasher stopped working yesterday and I contacted Pete through Homestars, based solely on the great reviews on him. He responded immediately and told me what he thought might be the issue and also gave me an estimate for the work to be done. Pete came out today to fix the dishwasher and I was extremely impressed by first of all the fact that he arrived on time, then looked at the dishwasher and fixed it for a fraction of the estimate he gave me, after finding a simple solution which I credited to his experience and expertise. He also gave me some good tips in order to prevent a recurrence of the issue. Extremely professional, honest, knowledgeable and efficient!!
