The person that cleans my eavestrough in the fall noticed shingles missing on the SW corner of our house leaving our roof exposed to rain. I looked on Homestar and else where for contractors. There are not very many roofing contractors who will do small repairs. Mr RoofRepair was one of two that would give me a quote. The quotes were identical so I chose Mr. RoofRepair because of how personable they were, the speed at which they replied and their reviews on Homestar. What he said he would do, he did & then more. His quote was competitive & he gave a detailed explanation of all the work that was to be done.He was prompt to answer all our emails & very helpful with all our questions. He has excellent insight into decor ideas & made positive suggestions that enhanced our ideas & the look of our home.His employees were punctual & took great pride in their work.They have made our home look amazing. I had 3 companies give me estimates and they were about the same price. I saw Instra on Mike Holmes a lot and liked how thorough they were. From my first phone call to the salesman to the instalation everything was handled in a professional manner. All my questions were answered and from what I saw on Mike Holmes I was comfortable with the answers. I had only R15 insulation and they brought it up to R50+. Because of the lack of insulation we had cold spots around the house. It was January and I figured that I would see an instant change in our cold spots and was getting worried but by the end of the second day our house felt like a thick blanket was covering our house and all the cold spots disappeared and have never come back. One of my concerns was that once the insulation settled would I still have R50. Because I got the insulation installed under the Eco Energy plan when the inspector came for the final inspection his first remark when he inspected the attic was how much insulation I had. He measured R56. I saw a real decrease in my heating and air conditioning costs. I would highly recommend this company.

From our talk with the salesman to the installation of the Lenox furnace and water heater everything was handled in a professional efficient manner including any rebates coming from the gas company and getting rid of my old oil tank. The price was competive. After 1 1/2 years the furnace has operated trouble free. It comes with a 10 year warranty. When the Enbridge inspector came he said he could tell that the instalation was done by one of the better companies because all the little extra things that don't have to be done to meet code were done He said these extras just made the job neater in appearance.
