- The photography provided from the site visit is very helpful. (as i think its very useful that they become items of record --included in the inspection report as an appendix) However, its a bit tricky to download the images efficiently. Currently, i download images individually. It would be nice to download a single document (i.e. PDF file perhaps)
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Always ask for a sample report regardless of inspection company. Reports tend to differ wildly both in clarity and breadth.

I try to give helpful hints whenever possible because I know that sometimes little things can lead into big things. Sometimes things that seem big are a simple fix. Remember a home inspector should be looking out for your best interests and keeping in mind your wallet. If I feel confident that people can save money by trying inexpensive methods first before dishing out a bunch of money for things, I will tell them. There is nothing better than telling people "don't worry, this is a simple fix", and the smile that goes on their face.
