My furnace would not start up back in October, I was reluctant to call a furnace repair because of a previous bad experience with another furnace repair company which advertises quite regularly. I was referred to taunton trades by a co worker who had used them twice and had a good experience. Once I called them I had an imidiate response from Sean, he asked me questions on what was happening and got me to look at a few things. He arrived at my house within 3 hours with some parts that he thought might be the cause. He latter determined that a smart valve needed replacement and told me the cost, which was around what the previous people charged me just to look at the furnace. i decided because of the age of the furnace to have it replaced and had Sean give me a quote. I also had another company give me a quote for comparison and Sean's was quite reasonable next to the other quote, some things that they included in the quote was extra from the other company. The other company was trying to get me to replace the a/c unit at the same time where as Sean said it was fine. My house has been a lot warmer this year with more even heat through the house. The furnace he installed is much quieter than the old one as well. I have since rendered Taunton trades to friend and he had a similar positive experience. I also just sold my house due to employment relocation and the home inspector was going on about how clean and proper the furnace instillation was. Highly recommended
