We suffered a very unfortunate backup of our sanitary sump pump, which caused flooding of sewage water in several areas of our public facility. The Magical Restoration team responded very quickly. They efficiently removed all the contaminated flooring and other material, dried, disinfected, sanitized and left us with a CLEAN DRY floor. Angels at a time of need. Highly recommended.

We did our homework and were very impressed with what we saw of Rafina's work, so had no hesitation in going with them for the floors in our renovation. David and his crew installed beautiful quarter cut oak floors and didn't even flinch when we asked for a difficult-to-apply custom stain. They pulled it off without a hitch and it looks terrific. Later, after our (not so perfect) painters left us with a spotty problem on our beautiful new floors, Rafina came back and spent more than a day touching up the floors for us. The floors are a proud feature in our home and a proud testament to David & crew.

6 years ago we did a complete top to bottom reno & addition using Somerset, and we had so much fun we decided to do it again when we found another property a mile away that suited us better. Building a home and working with a builder is a very intense experience, over a period of close to a year, and because we had such a positive experience the first time, we chose to go with Somerset again. On both occasions we found them to be honest, straight-forward, communicative, helpful and supportive. Overall, their trades are reliable, skillful, competent and easy to work with. This was a very hands-on project for us, we were onsite every day. There was never a question or an issue that was ignored or not dealt with quickly. Any problems we have encountered "post-construction" have been dealt with quickly, completely and without question. That's one of the reasons we came back the second time around. We are relieved to have come out of the building experience sane (twice) and still have a great relationship with Ernie and Graeme.

6 years ago we totally reno'd our house and following a strong recommendation from a friend, we went with KGA. In summer 2006 we completed another full reno of another home, and chose KGA again for our kitchen, all the bathroom vanities, and a fully panelled cherrywood Library. We are very pleased with the completed product, first and second time around. It always helps to go to a cabinetry supplier with a plan in hand, or be very sure of your needs. We went into this project armed with sketches, pictures from magazines and a bit of experience, and we came out with a picture-perfect product. And some of Khangs "knock-offs" are better than the pictures! Khang Le met our budget, was easy to work with, helpful and produces top-quality cabinetry with flawless finishes, both in lacquer and stained wood. Post-installation service for the inevitable few minor problems we had was quick and uncomplaining.
