Our eaves were very old, as were our downspouts, and causing dangerous conditions in the winter as they leaked and made our path around our home very icy. Additionally, we were having water leaking into the basement from the lack of efficiency of our eaves/downspout system with all of the rain this spring. From the moment I contacted Ontario Downspout Service I knew that they were the best. I received a competitive quote from owner Harvey and when Mark came out to view the work, he also (accurately) speculated about additional costs that could be associated with our job due to the age and state of the eaves. This way, there were no surprises when the eaves were removed and substantial damage and rot was found as he anticipated and my husband and I were prepared for the extent of the work. Mark and Hector did an excellent job walking us through their process for fixing and replacing the soffit and fascia, as well as consulted with us on the aesthetic for the work and where we would prefer to have the downspouts placed based on the slope of our land. Their clean up of the ground around our home was also excellent. I will have them back in the future to do further repairs to our roof and chimney and would highly recommend them.

My husband and I had a horrific Fall of 2015. Our simple bathroom remodel and the creation of a new baby's room resulted in the discovery of mold and structural damages in our century old Toronto home on all three levels. Our initial contractor was not up for the job as the structural retrofit was complicated and we were on a tight timeline (with baby due mid Feb) and budget. Bevan and his team started at the end of December and completed the job in 6 weeks. Their work was nothing short of remarkable! Bevan employs smart, creative and skilled tradesmen who have given us back our home, made it safe, were personable and reliable. Bevan is an excellent communicator and kept us in the loop at all stages of the project. Even when unforeseen challenges emerged (as they always do), Bevan always had numerous solutions for us to consider. He has an excellent eye for detail and efficiently manages his team as well as working with our other professionals such as our structural engineer, door installer, roofer etc. I have no doubt that any project, big or small, can be tackled by Kangro and you will not be dissatisfied if you work with them too!
