I had the absolute worst experience with this company. We had an auditor come to our house back in May to do an energy Audit for the greener home initiative. The auditor was under contract to ridge energy. My review matches some of the other poor reviews. All was great getting him to come do the audit, he was quick and very friendly. We scheduled him in for the post audit which was also quick. I paid our invoice right away and then for months the auditor refused to upload our paperwork needed to complete the grant. He stopped responding to my emails in which case I had no choice but to deal with Ridge Energy. At first they answered my calls, I was given the run around and the auditor was blamed with no ownership on their part. I was dealing with Summer who was a nightmare to deal with. She would never call me back, never rectified the situation and never answered emails or her phone and apparently she's the manager!! It wasn't until I was reading Google reviews that I came across another contact named Paul, I reached out to him, heard back right away and within a week or so, the paperwork was finally submitted to Greener homes. How is it that I dealt with phone calls and emails for months only for Paul to fix it in a week?? This tells me there's a whole bunch of people not doing their jobs. Don't use this company, very untrustworthy!!!

B and B plumbing was the plumber of choice from the contractor we used for our bathroom reno. After the reno we had a leak show up in our downstairs ceiling coming from the bathroom. Upon opening up the wall in our newly renovated bathroom, b and B plumbing discovered we had an ongoing leak in our tub drain, so we paid him to fix it. A year later and it's leaking again. I reached out to this company to come and fix it for us only to not receive a response, but my message to him was read. After having a different company come to fix the issue for us, they discovered his really shoddy work. The leak was indeed coming from the drain which he was supposed to have replaced. He didn't bother to replace the overflow valve with the drain which now has no seal, the drain was not put in straight causing it not to seal. He uses plumbers putty instead of caulking which the plumbers said over time just disintegrates. A year later, our ceiling is being cut open and the drain is having to be completely replaced again. I do not recommend this company under any circumstance. Find another plumber.

Aurora windows was the second company we had come give us a quote on replacing our large front window. Their price came in at half of what another company quoted us yet were offering pretty much the same window. The salesman was knowledgeable and friendly and not pushy which was big for me. He made me feel we could trust him and in the end it was true. Every appointment they were on time, and once the window was installed we were so happy. The craftsmanship is top notch, I'm a perfectionist and can't find any flaws. We ran into a little hiccup during the install, not their fault, but they stopped the install, explained the issue and helped me troubleshoot until I came to a decision. Not a speck of dust was left behind and our front lawn was completely cleaned up after. I will recommend this company to anyone looking for windows and if you decide to use them, I'm confident you will too. It's nice and refreshing to find a company that really cares about their customers which I'm sure is why they've been in business so long. A+ from this happy customer.
