JT in Mississauga

The condo did pipe work in the building which affected 3 of my rooms. I figured I would get those rooms re-painted but that would also require a plumber to disconnect and move vanities in order to paint the whole wall, affected by the condo work, instead of just around the vanities. The Home Improvement Group (THIG) was the only place that I could find that was able to get me a plumber as well. Les was able to come to my place to check it out and discuss all my concerns and his thoughts on what I wanted done. He knew condo rules and was up-to-date on code regulations. The guys that came in to do the work were awesome, friendly, and gave me tips about painting so that I could do touch ups on my own. Les was always available and answered my emails promptly when I had concerns or questions during the week the workers were here. Francine was also a pleasure to work with on the paper work side of things. I highly recommend them!!

I needed painting done in 2 bathrooms, the laundry closet, and a bedroom closet due to condo work that was done plus I had been meaning to get the bathrooms fully painted. However due to the condo work, I wanted the vanities moved so that painting could be done behind them as well. Condo rules state that I need a licensed plumber to move my vanities. This is where The Home Improvement Group really stood out as they were the only company that would get a licensed plumber to do this!! I also needed a few handyman things done. Estimated 4 days. Took 4 days. Scott and Kyle were the guys to do this job and they were great!! Kyle did most of the grunt work with fixing the drywall in the ensuite bathroom and also drywalling around the ceiling lint trap in the laundry closet, as well as the painting. It was nice having Kyle around as he has such a positive, happy attitude!! Scott was the man though ... my handyman and kept an eye on the project. He even saved me some money by slightly re-arranging the timing of the vanities with the plumber so that an extra plumber visit was not necessary! Scott also saw a couple of small things that he fixed for me which was not on my list but I'm glad he did because one of them (lint trap) made no sense in it's design as I could hardly open it. When I asked him about how I could painting over scuff marks or small areas, he gave me plenty of painting tips. Scott and Kyle are a great team!!! If I have future paint jobs, it would be great to have them back!!

Vince was able to unclog my washing machine drain better than another company that tried. I'm very happy with this company and would hire them again for any plumbing issue.
