An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
When we set out to find someone or some group to renovate our kitchen, we had a number of priorities in mind. We wanted superb design, quality on-time installation, and value on our investment, not to mention a high level of care and professionalism on the part of all those involved. Well let me say that Kitchen Designers Plus in Oakville delivered on all counts! Especially impressive was Kelly who worked as our design consultant and liaison with Joe our work-team manager. It was Kelly’s obvious expert design flair and friendly professionalism that initially made a difference for us when choosing KD-Plus over the competition. Lots of outfits can produce a good kitchen, but having confidence in the team and a good working relationship are essential – especially when having to deal with glitches and issues that inevitably arise in any kitchen renovation. I must say that Kelly was always quick to respond to any concerns we had and she did so always trying to accommodate to our needs. Not once did we feel we were in some kind of unpleasant adversarial situation. We always felt Kelly was on our side. For this, we are extremely grateful. In the end our kitchen looks fabulous, even better than the computer mock-ups provided to us early in the design phase of the project. I might add that because of Kelly’s connections to local retailers and product manufacturers, we were also able to get a couple of good deals reducing our costs. Kelly’s positive working relationship with one particular retailer no doubt played an important role in getting us a “hassle-free” response when requesting, beyond a policy stipulated return date, a new oven vent which came delivered with a dent. Expecting the worst, we received immediate satisfaction. I wonder whether we would have received the same prompt and courteous service if Kelly had not sent so many previous clients to the same vendor. In short, Kitchen Designers Plus is an outstanding outfit. We couldn’t be happier with the final results of their efforts.
