An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
My wife and I just had David Fairbairn inspect a home that we were interested in purchasing. David encouraged us to attend the inspection. He was extremely thorough, answered all of our questions as he proceeded and explained what he was doing. At the end of the inspection he took the time to go over his detailed report and explain his findings. It was clear from the outset that he was very capable and knowledgeable and was able to point out many issues that we could not see with our untrained eyes. Most importantly, he found water damage in one wall and evidence of a small marijuana grow op under a staircase. He is very professional and trustworthy. We are very pleased with his inspection and would not hesitate to use his services again. We would strongly recommend him to anyone needing home inspection. Thank you again for your terrific inspection. Every day we are thankful that you found the grow op.
