A friend recommended Ahmad Manasreh to us for painting our condo. Our tenant just moved out of our 3BR rental condo and left the place in a big mess: garbage everywhere, the walls pockmarked with nail holes. We were desperate to fix it, as we have a new tenant from the US moving in shortly, and there was no way we could fix the damage done by the previous tenants. We called Ahmad, and despite the long weekend and an already existing project he was doing, he came and took a look at our condo, gave us a very accurate estimate of how much paint to buy, and finished painting the 1800sqf condo in 2days. He worked late evenings to get it done on time brought in his own supplies of drop cloths, spackle, ladder, and even provided the ceiling paint. When we mentioned we wanted to change the flooring to laminate as the carpet is too dirty, he gave us his flooring wholesaler contact, and recommended a great flooring guy. He saved us so much time, money and headache..and on top of it all, he is also a very mellow, meticulous and courteous person! He just exudes a very positive vibe that you know you could trust him with anything. I wouldnt hesitate to hire him again..and am looking forward to the day he could do paint our primary residence.

A colleague at work advised me to only go with another contractor when I told him about our plan of re-doing our porch. However, while on a visit to a friend’s house, I noticed that they had re-done their front balcony and admired the craftsmanship. I was told Solocrete did it for them, and so I contacted Solocrete for our porch (am glad I did!). Solocrete did an amazing job in updating our front, back and side walkway in exposed aggregate with decorative concrete border. We dealt with Frank, and he was a very courteous, very efficient and knowledgeable guy…very pleasant to work with. We made a mistake of updating our railings first before we decided to overhaul our porch, and technically, contractors will only remove that in order to do their job but wont re-install it. Frank re-installed that for us for free, and although they had to remove our existing front stairs and replaced it with a new concrete, they made sure the railings still fit right back. Frank was also flexible enough to come twice to re-draw the plot after some issue with our next door neighbour. Despite the unpredictable fall weather, they finished the job on time, as per the 2-week timeframe they promised us from the start. Their workers are also amazing…very unobtrusive..came and went with their excellent work without supervision. I highly recommend them for aggregate work! Our house looks so much better, it was worth every penny we spent on it.
