We had used Pioneer several years ago and they were wonderful, so when it came time to waterproof one last remaining basement wall, we called them again. This time we had a horrible experience. They did not wrap one of the corners as the salesman had said they would. They broke our concrete bench. They dinged up 3 of our fruit trees with their machine. They dinged up our brand new siding in several places. They buried our Bell TV box 8 feet deep. They mixed a pile of pea gravel that we had tarped separately in with all of the dirt (we didn't want that, which is why it was tarped separately!) They left the grading in a horrible state, with a big mound sloping towards our house. When they called for payment and we told them that we were not at all happy with their work, they sent out their foreman. He cleaned up our siding and dug out our Bell box, which took half a day. He said they would return to correct the grading with their machine-they did not. They only partially corrected the damages. I wish we had held back some of the payment in hindsight. In short, we had a crew of people who just didn't care about the quality of their work, who left us with a lot of hand digging to correct the terrible mess that they left us with. We would not recommend this company to anyone - who knows which crew you'll get? The good one, or the terrible one.

We had been trying to get a new driveway installed since the Spring. 90% of the companies we contacted didn't even call us back, and of those who did, only 1 came to see us. We thought we would never get this job done! A friend said "I know a guy" and it was Enzo from King Star. He answered the phone when I called! And he came out to see us that night, and gave us a very reasonable quote. The job was done in less than 2 weeks, and we are extremely happy with the end product. We have recommended Enzo and King Star to lots of friends, they are fabulous!
