We hired George and Tony of Precision Glass to install a custom-design backsplash in our kitchen. We were burned by another supplier whom we fired after about four months of delays and unkept promises. George and Tony dealt with us very professionally, understood our frustration with the previous contractor and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable working with them. The installation was very good, with a minor mistake. George and Tony immediately acknowledged the issue and are resolving it to our full satisfaction. We strongly recommend Precision Glass. Both George and Tony are great professionals, experienced in their trade and great guys to deal with.

I just completed a full renovation of my house, from top to bottom. Due to many horror stories I've heard, I interviewed over 40 general contractors. Even before he got the contract, Sedat worked closely with us to understand our intentions and needs. He freely gave advice while he knew that he was competing for the job. Eventually, I hired him for the full work. He is trustworthy, straightforward, extremely knowledgeable, honest and is a top-notch tradesperson. In most cases, I was satisfied with the work before he himself was. The result is a spectacular home, excellent finish quality in every detail. He paid the same level of attention to hidden (eg. plumbing, insulation, etc.) tasks as he did to visible ones (eg. drywall, lighting, floors, etc.). I would whole-heartedly recommend Sedat and Design 21.

I hired Carson Dunlop to do a house inspection before I purchased it. Kurt, the inspector, arrived right on time and was immediately at work. He was very thorough, professional and attentive to my questions & concerns. Although I asked a good number of questions, he always asked me whether I had any other questions before moving on to other sections of the house. He gave me tips on how to fix some smaller problems. The final report is very high quality and useful. Carson Dunlop provides a home owners manual with their report. Overall, I am very impressed by Kurt and the professionalism of Carson Dunlop. Their prices are higher than other inspectors (which I have no experience with) but I think I got my money's worth.

We hired ARR to strip existing shingles and redo both the flat section and the shingles on our roof. Our salesperson was George, who was extremely pleasant to deal with. He responded to our questions and requests very promptly, significantly exceeding the service we received from ARR's competitors during the bidding process. He was helpful, informative, cooperative and very professional. The work took three days to complete, which was performed to our satisfaction. The crews did their best to minimize the distruption their work caused to our life. They worked efficiently and cleaned up the site at the end of each day. Once the crews finished their work, ARR followed up with us to ensure that we were happy. They quickly sent an inspector to do a quality check and fix up a minor detail we pointed out. From bidding to follow ups after completion, ARR did an excellent job. All this came at a competitive, but not the lowest, price. Overall, we are very happy with ARR and would definitely consider them for any future jobs.

We purchased a one-piece low-profile toilet, a kitchen sink and faucet, and a bathroom basin and faucet from TUBS. TUBS has a decent showroom with helpful staff. We visited the store a few times until we made the purchases. In each occasion, we were promptly greeted and help was offered. We typically like to explore the store ourselves first. The staff respected our desire and gave us the space until we asked for help. In one occasion, we dealt with Punet, who was helpful and prompt. The second time, David helped us with our purchase. He was very honest, accurate and careful about meeting our needs. After we placed the order, he followed up the next day with further information. Until we purchased these items from TUBS, we shopped around quite a while, so we are convinced that we received a good price for good-quality products. The service was excellent. We are sure to return to TUBS for our other needs.

I contacted All Canada Refrigeration when my dryer stopped working. Their response time was short in sending someone over to diagnose the problem. When (my wife) authorized the repairs, they replaced one part (the starter switch, which was sufficient to fix the dryer). They charged for three other parts (which they did not replace) and the associated labour. I called later and talked with Sandra to request an explanation for the charges. She yelled at me and told me to repair it myself if I knew so much. That was pretty much all the "customer service" I have received from them.
