About two months ago, I decided to use the services of Hire A Maid, mainly because of high ratings and great comments on HomeStars. Although perhaps not the most competitive company in terms of cost, but they pay their cleaners decent wages, and this was important to me. The company is responsive; their phones are always answered by a person, who can address your enquiries or concerns; I mean ALWAYS!! In terms of cleaning services, Jessy has become our cleaner, and I couldn't ask for a better person. She always makes sure I am happy with her work and asks if there is anything else she should attend to. She is also a ray of sunshine, who enters our home every two weeks. Koodos, Jessy! You're the best!!

If you want to make sure your ducts are clean, please call Mathew. He takes his time and uses a camera to make sure all surfaces are clean. Mathew actually showed me videos with few pieces of cobweb stubornly stuck in the ducts, but he spent more time in these areas and eventually got them. After the service I noticed my house accumulates much less dust after a few days without cleaning.

I am absolutely in heaven! Our house is dark. We needed to add some more lighting. We tried various lamps here and there, but none of these solutions compared to pot lighting. Hossein, along with his crew, installed 20 lights on our main floor and two staircase landings. It changed the look and feel of the entire space. Not only it's brighter, but visually it looks bigger. With dimmers, we can also create a more intimate atmosphere. Hossein and his crew are professionals in the traditional sense of the word. They look after you rather than try. to sell more unnecessary stuff just to make additional profit. These days, it is a rare quality. The lights were installed in 2.5 hours; the crew cleaned up the debris. Great experience overall. My only regret is that we didn't do it sooner.

We had a new awning that needed to be installed. Long story short, we had a person, who said they would do it for us before we made a purchase, but after 6 weeks of waiting, we were afraid the new product, sitting under the deck for that long, will start to get moldy. At that point we started to search HomeStars to find a company that would do just an installation. We contacted Arvito, because of high ratings at HomeStars. Nikhil got back to us right away. While he is not doing just installations, he connected us with Patrick, his installer. About 10 days later, we had the new awning professionally installed. By the way, the price of $550 included the removal and disposal of the old awning ($150). I just want to say BIG THANKS to Nikhil and Patrick.

Perhaps it was not a bargain, but we were not looking for one. We wanted what some real estate agents call "a professionally landscaped" front yard at a decent price. And this is exactly what we got! I checked some other reputable companies. Apex quotes are in line, perhaps a little lower? I really need to mention the crew of 3 amazing men, who understood the particulars of our lot (a big tree with horrible roots and ground cover plants around it). Although small front yard, but difficult to work with. Many thanks for your hard work. And I know, it was very hard!!! Thanks!!!
