After extensive research, estimates, and interviews my wife and I selected Paul to install 8 new windows on the back of our home. We have a large picture window in the sun room that consists of 7 windows with the top window being a large dome surrounded by crown molding. The window opening encompasses more than 2/3rds of the wall and is the focal point for the view of the backyard. It was extremely important to us to maintain the architecture of our home. Paul proposed a solution that not only accomplished both key goals, but allowed us to use the same custom wood blinds we had previously . Replacement of this large of a unit was difficult for multiple reasons. First actual removal of such a large window poses a risk of injury due to its weight, instability of old frame, and location. Removing such a large, heavy, window where the the ground is uneven while standing on a ladder is concerning, especially when the top glass is approximately 12-14 feet up from ground level. The windows replaced in the second area was in our dining room and consisted of 3 individual windows that also look upon the lake. Instead of replacing the 3 individual windows it was decided that 1 large picture window would enhance the view greatly. Paul and his associates exceeded our expectations. The sun room and dining room picture windows turned out beautiful. I was impressed by how efficient the two men were in completing such an enormous job in only 2 1/2 days. They were prompt, professional, well organized, knowledgeable, focused, respectful, friendly, and worked extremely hard in the high temperatures (36 C). They removed all the old windows, trash, and cleaned the entire work areas prior to leaving each day. We are so happy with the results my wife contracted with Paul to replace an additional 5 windows, and repair and paint another 4 windows in the back of the house, sun room/basement, and side of the house. My wife and I would strongly recommend Paul and his employees for anyone that needed windows replaced or repaired. The responses of family and friends have all been positive and some humorous. Our son-in-law argued with me that the opening in the dining room had been significantly enlarged and the view amazing. When I pointed out the actual frame and crown molding around the opening remained intact when the old 3 windows were removed, and the new window set into the previous frame he was impressed. Replacing 3 small windows with 1 large window produced results we had not even thought about before. Our daughter asked why we had not done it before when she still lived at home and would have had a wonderful view while eating (her chair faced the windows looking onto the yard).Other comments made included how the new windows really opened up the 2 rooms, how they added significant value to the home; beautiful windows and view, well made, and cost effective.
