Had a number of trades come in and inflated quotes on how to add fresh air intake at the soffits of my East York bungalow. Solid brick with no insulation in walls. Attic gets very hot because there is no fresh air intake. John removed the aluminum soffits, drilled all around the top of the solid wall above the soffits. New all-perforated soffits were installed and the house is so much cooler. Even in the last few very hot and humid days, I have not needed the air conditioner.
