I was excited to purchase my bedroom set from Arrow furniture and is now severely disappointed not only for the delay in furniture delivery, poor customer service and lack of information but also for the way Hakim (store manager) treated me. Furniture was 2 weeks late which is fine except it was impossible to get answers from anyone. When it arrived it had the warning Proposition 65 which says the items contain chemicals known to cause Cancer, birth defects and other reproductive issues. We were never told about this and if we had, we would not have bought this furniture. When I called customer service they referred me to the store. When I called the store, I was spoken to rudely and when the manager Hakim spoke to me he was yelling at me for being rude which I was not and told me to email customer service. While I explained that they told me to call him, he said “I don’t want to talk to you” and wanted to speak with my boyfriend. I was the victim of this store and he was verbally abusing me for voicing my concerns. Chances are they will do nothing for us but at least this will warn everyone never to purchase from them unless you want poor service, sever health problems or to be abused.

Hi Kana. Proposition 65 is a label initiative act that exists only in the state of California and regards possible health warnings in/on all products. Many common household items such as Asprin, cell phones and oral contraceptives also have these labels on them. Only in California will you see these labels on almost all furniture products and sometimes products that are intended to originally ship to California get re-routed to another state or country.
