Hi everyone! You may remember me from my previous review entitled, "Need to move? Best to call Joe @ Europa!" I am writing an additional review of Joe @ Europa now because he has saved the day for me yet again! I knew for a long time that I would have to replace my old decrepit bed, so I saved up money to do so, which took me a very long amount of time. After conducting extensive research into what the best new bed I could buy might be, I realized that to buy a bed that is likely to last for twenty years or more, and not suffer from dustmites or pilling or sagging or other such ailments (like most standard beds do), one of the best bets would be to go with an all natural talalay latex mattress. However, that plan presented a lot of major problems, such as, all natural latex is not cheap. Secondly, there are very few Canadian suppliers of quality all natural latex mattresses. After moving to my new place a few weeks ago, I knew it was finally time to take action on the research that I had done for many previous months, and use the money I had saved up for years, so I bought an all natural latex mattress from one of the best suppliers of that kind of item, in the USA. I was tired of having small single beds all my life, so this time I ordered a King-sized bed. That resulted in UPS bringing 6 extremely huge boxes, all of which contained pieces of my new latex bed, and one small box (the bed frame legs), to my apartment. This presented all kinds of problems for me. There is no possible way I would have been able to move by myself the two huge boxes that contained my bed frame, much less remove the four frame pieces from those boxes contents. In the same manner, I had no way to move my old bed frame out of my apartment. Moreover, I had no idea how to set up my complex new bed. Because I knew ahead of time that these problems were coming, I called Joe @ Europa to help me out with them. I am very glad I made that decision! You may be wondering why I spent so much time talking about the complexities of buying and recieving my new latex bed. The reason for that is because I want you, my dear reader, to understand that this bed purchase was a huge issue in my life. I spent an insane amount of time and energy researching what to buy, reading consumer reviews, consulting professionals in the mattress industry on anonymous forums (hence, I could be sure they weren't deceiving me in order to try to sell me something, as many in-store mattress professionals do), communicating with suppliers, etc. More importantly, I spent several thousand dollars that it took me years of my life to save up. As a result of all those things-vast amounts of my life and money invested into this- I didn't want to task any average joe with the care of my new bed. Instead, I entrusted its care to an extraordinary Joe, Joe @ Europa! And I am glad I did. Joe and his partner arrived at the perfect time, as we had agreed. Joe and his partner did not have previous experience with this type of very complex bed (i.e. 6 pieces of pine slat bed foundation with 16 legs to attach, 6 pieces of latex comprising 3 different layers, one additional egg-tray style latex layer, and a cotton mattress cover that had to be properly integrated with all 7 latex pieces at once). Of course, that is understandable...it is not every day that people are nuts enough, as I am, to order a complicated latex bed from the States for the sake of sticking it to the man and refusing to buy a mattress with cheap polyurethane foam which is likely to break down in 6 months to 1 year and thereby cause mass sagging and resulting back pain. The important thing is that despite this being a new situation for him, Joe still got the job done very well, and very fast. It took Joe less than an hour to: remove all the bed components from their 7 boxes; remove the box contents from their individual packaging; assemble the entire bed (remember how complex this activity is from my previous outline); remove my old bed frame and mattress and place it outside; remove a huge dresser that I no longer had space for and put it outside; and remove all the packaging and boxes and dispose of them. Keep in mind, there were a lot of stairs and locked doors involved with this event as well; I live in an apartment complex, and my apartment is not on the ground floor. If not for those factors, I'm sure Joe would have got it done even faster. I think that other movers would have taken much longer to get all that done. Further, I was sure to ask Joe and his partner to please be careful with the latex, because I have read it can tear easily, and if a piece of my latex got torn, then I would be out over five hundred United States dollars just for that one piece. Joe and his partner abided by that request. They were very careful with my precious latex, and none of it was damaged in any way. As always, Joe's rates were very economical, which was nice, considering that I had just blown almost all my money on my crazy latex bed and a few trimmings for it, like sheets. I had a lot of anxiety about getting my new bed setup properly and without damage. Joe did the job better than I could have hoped for. Joe removed my anxiety and made me glad that I once again called Joe @ Europa to help me solve problems that were far too big for me to tackle on my own. If you have a problem, then I recommend that you don't call Vanilla Ice to solve it. Instead, be like me, and call Joe @ Europa!

I had planned to move on the 31st of the month, but on the 17th my landlord let me know that they were going to "reglaze" my bathtub for the new tenant taking my place next month, and therefore I'd have to leave my apartment for 4 hours on that day to avoid being poisoned from the toxic fumes. Well, I wasn't about to breathe in that crap *after* a measely 4 hours, either! It's not like they would care if I got cancer or something from it, but I sure would! The point is, I needed to move in a hurry in order to avoid being poisoned from an imminent bathtub "reglaze," therefore I was forced to provide a mover with very short notice and pray I would be accomodated. That's when I called Joe @ Europa! Despite me only being able to give Joe very short notice (read: a few days), Joe accomodated me into his busy schedule (when you have a great rep like Joe [for evidence, read the other great reviews too , not just mine], then your service is very in-demand!). Joe also took care of me very well. Joe arrived earlier than the scheduled time and had to work around city construction crews that were literally blocking the front entrance to my building with huge pits with metal fences around them (they were replacing the water main under the street), and tons of gigantic construction vehicles. These added obstacles did not slow Joe down. Joe still got the job done very fast, and very well. Joe's rates are very reasonable. Joe is upfront about the rates and does not have hidden costs, unlike some other movers which are not upfront and do have hidden costs, which is another great reason to choose Joe, IMO. In sum, if you want to receive great service at reasonable rates from an honest person, Joe @ Europa is your man!
