Home Saving Heating and Cooling Inc., requested me to write a review about their service. As per their request I submitted my review. Few days later Homestars replied to my posts, for my disbelief the first paragraph of my review was gone missing when inquired from Homestars, Gerry Hubley replied confirming me that “Homestars do not edit or alter posts in any way shape or form” further they gave me step by step instructions to make any changes and post it again if I needed. I thought of re write an impartial review of my own experience with Home Saving Heating and Cooling Inc. “We experienced many issues with our rental water heater tank due to a different contracting company worked for Canadian Tire made a silly yet a very unprofessional installation of a humidifier unit which causes water heater tank to malfunction in regular basis, once contacted Canadian Tire they acknowledged the mistakes done by their previous service provider and told me that they do not use that provider anymore and a representative from a different company will come to our home to assess the situation”. Two days later a representative from Home Saving Heating and Cooling Inc., Home Saving Heating and Cooling Inc., came to my home identified him sent from Canadian Tire after assessed the situation and talked with his manager agreed to install a new water heater tank in my home. Couple of days later Joy from H.S.H.C.I. contacted me to schedule an appointment I requested her to send the technicians on Saturday but later she told me they can come only during Monday to Friday then I requested her to send the technician before 9am but she finalized the time 10am I reluctantly agreed. The technician arrived at 1045am that’s 45 minutes late than the scheduled time. Also I was shocked to see only one person came beside my request to send two people as the water heater tank is heavy and very difficult to carry by one person in to my basement safely without causing any damage to my property (as my home has a finished basement) when questioned the technician he gave me an excuse saying his partner was sick? As I could not postpone this matter anymore I let him carryon the job, despite my limited physical ability unfortunately I had to help him to bring the new heater tank in to my basement and take the older tank back to his van on the road. (I have informed this to H.S.H.C.Inc. and questioned them why they expect customers to do their labor.) Throughout the installation I was with him to make sure the job was done properly, one time I noticed he was trying to connect two PVC elbows instead of connecting one straight PVC pipe in to the exhaust line. I told him to get new pipe from his vehicle and do a proper job rather taking short cuts. I have stressed him the importance of doing a quality and proper work at the first time without rushing. He stated he has another job soon after mine. (Sadly they emphasis the quantity of jobs not the quality) I don’t tell their work either good or bad, but Home Saving Heating and Cooling Inc. should be more punctual, quality conscious and should not expect customers to do their labor. It is also very important someone with at least little bit of knowledge should be around them when contractors work in your home just to make sure they don’t take short cuts and perform poorly.

We take customer satisfaction very seriously here at Home Saving Inc., and our communications immediately after the service did not indicate that you had experienced any problems with our technician or the service overall. We were really hoping to mend the situation that another contractor had left behind.
