One of the most difficult decisions for a homeowner during a renovation is to select a contractor with the right skills who has recruited the right talent to complete your project. My project involved a 30’ load bearing wall removal and a new post to be relocated in the basement. My home was built in 1978, a typical 4 bedroom 2 car garage. Needless to say things like basement posts and beam sizes in the basement were undersized by today's standards. Aldo Contracting not only met my exceptions but surpassed them in all areas. These guys surpassed minimum code in all areas without the need to hold their hand throughout the construction process. I will do business with Aldo again. Calibre's operations and organization for this task was like clock work. They arrived on-time all external counterparts were organized and came on time. The work was clean and tidy. A company who actually wants to talk and provide options and spends the time to explain the process and cost is well worth your time. Most companies want to meet on-site before they go into any details on the purchase then write-up a quote and harass you to contract the job to them, this is where Calibre is different. Calibre cost was the best out of 4 quotes.

This company is well organized, courteous and will go out of their way to provide excellent service. These guys aren't cocky and show confidence throughout their entire job. They left the job cleaner than it was when they arrived and protected the staircase railing with a blanket to prevent damage. Ceilings were not damaged. Excellent job!
