Our inspection recommended increasing insulation in our attic from R20 to R50. In addition, we needed the soffit vents checked and the hatch-door insulated. After several interviews, we chose Howard and Tropical Insulation. Best as I can tell, the work was completed and to the proper amount. To earn a 10, we would have liked a better clean-up job (or at least warning about the debris). Also accurate scheduling would have been appreciated. (They told us the people would come in 2 hours earlier than they were scheduled) Overall, I would recommend Tropical and we would use them again.

Since our house is about 40 years old, it was recommended by an inspector to get the fuse-panel changed into circuit breakers. After several interviews, we decided to use Stan from Kronos. He worked with our budget to replace the fuse-panel with circuit-breakers, check the aluminum wiring, add an outlet and provide an ESA. Since he was here anyway, we also asked him to change all of our light-switches and electrical outlets to newer ones. Throughout the process, Stan and his assistant were attentive to our needs. There were some inevitable hiccups along the way, but Stan came in the next morning to try to resolve them. To earn a 10, we would have liked a little more clean-up and fewer hiccups, but generally, all of the electrical works fine. Overall, I recommend Stan and Kronos for electrical work and we would be happy to use them again.
