John, Phil and Colin were fantastic to have around. They took great care of my property while they were here, and were happy to take the time to discuss things with us as the job progressed. we replaced the driveway, retaining walls, stairs to the front door, and added a patio. We had a number of issues during the job and I was very impressed by how well the crew handled everything. The job started a little after the COVID lockdown ended so there were material supply issues, John was driving all over the place to find material. There was a crazy heatwave and my driveway is fully in the sun most of the day. It was torturous, I suggested they take the day off rather than suffer, but they just kept going. The guys did everything they could to keep the job moving, regardless of what got in their way. We are very pleased with the results, and so are the neighbors. We have had a steady stream of people in the neighborhood who have dropped by to chat and inspect the work.

ME contracting installed a new backyard patio for us consisting of interlocking patio pavers, replace steel window wells with stone window wells, and a feature wall. Daryl was awesome to deal with. He was very thorough in reviewing our project and went over all the details. He was always very prompt responding to emails. Came to the appt on time and He checked everything over including the grading. We described what we were looking for, and he was very receptive and offered some nice suggestions we incorporated into our design. He handed the job off to Tomer who was our foreman. Tomer and his crew were friendly and very easy to deal with. I popped out to see what was going from time to time. They always took the time to explain what was going on and answer any questions. They made some suggestions during the job which we thought were great. Our backyard has access issues, but they dealt with it all without any concerns or problems. I would highly recommend Daryl and Tomer, and plan to have them come back to do my driveway and front yard landscaping job next year. The price was a little higher than some other contractors we spoke to but after meeting Daryl and discussing the job with him we felt very comfortable and knew he would do a great job. We are happy with our decision to go with ME contracting.

I had an old furnace which had not been maintained in a while, I had Richard come out and do some maintenance, but he found some problems which were very expensive to fix and required my furnace be red tagged. After getting quotes from a variety of contractors, I decided to have Richard install my furnace. I found him to be very professional and thoughtful, he took the time to explain what was wrong with my old equipment, and provided information and showed me some pictures to ensure I was comfortable with his assessment. While I was doing my research and meeting with contractors, he and Janice were very responsive to my emails and would make phone calls to follow up to make sure I was happy with the answers. Richard provided a lot of info on the units he was selling, and gave me different configuration options to fit my budget. From start to finish, it felt like he genuinely cared about my home and my family's well being. We ended up going with the Lennox SLP98, iComfort thermostat and XC14 AC unit. His pricing was reasonable, not just for the equipment, but also for the ongoing maintenance of the unit. Some of the other contractors I called couldn't tell me what it would cost to do the maintenance on the units they were selling. The install looks great, the previous install looked like a bad sculpture or something. New furnace functions perfectly and we notice a pretty big decrease in the amount of noise the furnace makes, comfort and humidity levels are greatly improved. We could not be happier with Richard, his team, and our new furnace and AC.

We contacted the duct cleaning specialists to clean out our ducts after some major renovations. Mat and Nick were very polite, professional, and clean. I found them to be very thorough, they took the time to explain what they were doing and answered all my questions. the job went very smoothly, and I've noticed a big difference in the air quality in my home. I highly recommend them.

Brian was recommended to us by another contractor we trusted, and we were not disappointed. Brian and his team did a fantastic job. He showed up quickly, provided a fantastic estimate, and was timely in all his communication with us. when the windows were installed, the work was top notch and the product was fantastic as well. They cleaned up after themselves when they were done and if not for the beautiful new windows, you would not have known they were there at all. We plan to have Brian replace some other windows in our home in the future.

Marcello did a fantastic job with our kitchen renovation. His crew was timely and respectful of our property. They were remarkably clean and treated my house better than I treat it. The work was done to a standard that exceeded my requirements. Communication was great through the whole project. From Quote to final bill, Marcello was always available for questions, provided me progress updates, and explained the process when required. I was very particular about certain things and Marcello was receptive to my demands, and was always flexible and reasonable in working out the few minor issues we had. He even referred me to another contractor to replace my windows, and that contractor was fantastic as well. I could not be happier with the work, and would hire Marcello again without a moment’s hesitation.

The previous owner of my home had left a lot of trash laying around when they moved out. In addition, I had some demo waste from a project. There was no way I was going to get that trash to the dump myself, so I decided to hire O'Leary disposal. Des came out on a rainy morning to dispose of all the garbage I had. He showed up early and worked very quickly. On top of being a hard worker, He's also a really friendly guy. I had a bunch of dirt on the floor that piled up over the winter from my car. Des swept up all up and put all the dust into the bin as well. I didn't ask him to do it, he just did cause that's the kind of guy he is. I Would not hesitate to use his services again.

Vlad and his guys were fantastic. I called for an estimate and Vlad was at my door the very next morning and was there 5 minutes early. Communication through the project was great and all my calls were returned promptly. the work was done on schedule and the clean up was also very well done, you can't even tell the area had been dug up. We've had a few storms and not a single drop of moisture in the house so I'm happy with the quality of work as well. I've found that sometimes once paid, contractors aren't quite as interested in returning your calls or answering your questions. This is definitely not the case with Vlad. After the work was completed, I had some questions, and Vlad was just as responsive as he was on day 1 when I called him for an estimate. That gives me a lot of confidence that if I ever have problems with the work, Vlad will get them taken care of. I Definitely would recommend Umbrella to anyone needing waterproofing done.

I called Robert to take a look at the major mould problem I was having in my basement. I got a call back quickly, Setting up an appt was quick and painless and having him come out to give me an estimate took no time at all. He gave me a quick rundown of the process. A fair price was agreed on and he had Warren in my basement 2 days later cleaning the mould out. Warren removed the mould and disposed of all the debris. he cleaned up before he left and even swept and mopped the floor. I could not be happier with the service and would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

I had Darren from Carson Dunlop come and do my home energy audit. I felt he was very thorough, and also very helpful. He took the time to explain what everything meant and what would be most helpful. He also gave me tips on things that wouldn't get me a rebate, but would make a difference in general home comfort and power efficiency. I thought this was great, because regardless of what rebate the government will give me for making changes, something that shaves $20 off my energy bill every month is good to know about. He also gave me a lot of tips on the air tightening, what to do, and how i could do it myself. Overall he was very professional and very friendly. I've already recommended him to some friends to do their audit. I'm looking forward to making my improvements and seeing the results. I'll edit this with results when i get the second audit.

I called ExpressRooter Plumbing to deal with a leaky pipe(solder joint) . Rob was in and out in no time at all. He took the time to explain the problem, what caused it, and how he would fix it. He gave me a quote up front and was done in no time at all. No mess, no mistakes, no frustration. just fast & efficient work. He was also very polite and friendly and let me ask him some general plumbing type questions about some things that were bothering me about my new homet.
