We had X-treme install eavestrough on our house this spring. Overall things went fine, but it took a lot of calls and threatening to withhold payment until they finished the job. I'm not sure where the disconnect happened, but we had a quote from them and they agreed to match a competing companies price. We needed 4 downspouts, 2 of each colour. When they arrived to do the install (we'd asked to be notified when they were coming, but weren't) they told us that the new contract where they matched the price didn't specify 2 colours for the downspouts, so they only brought the one. They said they'd be back the next day with the other ones to finish the job. About 3 weeks later and after we called multiple times asking when they would finish (with a promise every time that they would be there in a day or 2), they had the gall to call and ask for payment. We told them they wouldn't be getting paid until the work was complete. The person on the phone seemed surprised that the work wasn't finished (even though we called the office, and their salesperson multiple times) and assured us we would receive a call soon to let us know when they would complete it. Later that day we received a call letting us know they would be there the next day to finish it. Once it was done, it looks great and is exactly what we were promised, but getting there took too much effort.

We had Verdun come in and install some new windows in our house, and while there were a few issues, they were eventually all solved. The first issue was that we weren't told there were 2 options for the size of the trim surrounding the windows. We needed very unique sized windows and we made it very clear what we wanted and expected. When they came to install the windows, they were not at all what we were expecting. There was more trim than there was glass. Even their own installers said it must have been a screw up. Being a great company, they owned up to their mistake and remade all the windows with the other (smaller) trim option. They looked much better. This was all taken care of quickly. Unfortunately during the install one of the windows was left leaning up against an exterior door to my house and when I tried to leave it tipped over. The window itself wasn't damaged, but the screen was. This took almost a full year, and multiple emails (that were ignored) until they finally replaced the damaged screen.

David and his crew were incredible. From the first contact, to the day they came out we knew exactly what was happening and were kept updated on what to expect. In fact, they came out the same night we called them so they could spray parts of our roof that were uncovered (it was in the process of being replaced and was being finished the next day) since it would provide better protection. It's now been about 2 weeks since they came and sprayed for carpenter ants and we no longer have any issues with finding them around the house. They were nothing but professional, courteous, and knowledgeable! Highly recommend them.

We recently had Ring Electric in to upgrade our old electrical panel, install some new outlets and fix a few other issues. A crew of 3 guys showed up the day they said they would, at exactly the time they said they would. They were all extremely professional and got right to work. Due to a few unexpected issues the job was taking longer than previously expected, so Bryan sent over another crew that had finished early and was in the neighbourhood. In the end, we had 3 trucks, and 6 guys and they finished everything in 1 day (stayed until 6pm), just like they said, at the same price we'd been quoted. All the new outlets were installed with very few holes made, they cleaned up extensively, and always made sure to consult with me anytime there were questions to ensure I would be happy with the outcome. I can't stress enough how professional all the guys were. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
