John Dima of Mr Rooter did his usual magic replacing worn kitchen taps. He has been here before and I'll ask for him again. Pleasant, courteous and professional. Readily changed his schedule to accommodate mine.

The acutal move seemed to go well until I went outside and saw where their crew had literally ripped the front railing off the porch! I got neither an apology nor an explanation from the crew. When contacted by phone the manager exhibited some of the rudest behaviour I've ever experienced. They would take no responsibility whatsoever, I was told to "get a life" and he hung up. Notarized letters/receipts detailing the $600 it cost to repair the damage received no response. Two Small Men with Big Hearts? I think not.

I was referred to Anderson Windows onlinethrough Yahoo Questions. Anderson replaced five double hung windows in my living/dining area. The salesman was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of their products. He accompanied their carpenter to my house to assess the situation. It was determined that they had to replace the existing 2x4's to accomodate the new windows. This was included in the purchase price; other companies I had approached would have charged extra for this or wouldn't have done it at all. The fellows who did the actual installation were equally polite and accomodating. The windows are look great and function perfectly. A very good experience!

I phoned Mr. Rooter and Master plumber Adrian was here within the hour. He assessed the situation and had me approve his estimate before work began. He snaked the drain (It was a tough clog about 20 feet into the system), made sure all of the adjoining pipes were sealed and tested the system thoroughly. A very courteous man!

City re-installed our toilet after it had been removed for floor refinishing. Three weeks later we discovered that it had been slowly leaking. A technician from Mr. Rooter shook his head in disbelief when he saw the shoddy workmanship. The drywall and hardwood floor in the downstairhallway had to be replaced. The total cost was around $5000. City Plumbing wouldn't return messages and didn't even offer to pay the insurance deductible.
