We had all our troughs replaced by contex in the late fall. The product is good, the price is very competitive and the installation went quite smoothly. My main complaint would be that the customer service is a bit lacking. When calling to confirm appointments or to report problems, calls are often unreturned. They'll come and fix the problem but without a returned phone call it's hard to known whether an issue is addressed or not.

We had almost all of our winwdows and doors replaced by Casa Bella in the late fall. Overall they did a really great job and the service was quite good. The highlight was the installation which was done professionally with very little mess by a group of solid workers. My one complaint was the pre-installation service. Some of the sales portion could have been streamlined (many required choices like trim type and such weren't covered and as such has to be revisited with calls later). Also, the time estimate given was off by 1.5 days and no choice was given for the installation date. Overall though, especially given the price, we were quite satisfied with the job done.

Our tv broke for no apparent reason - isn't that always the way? Oscar came over that evening we called, took the TV and gave us a quote the next day. After we agreed, the tv was repaired the tv was dropped off that same evening - less than 24 hours! Oscar is courteous and very professional. It's nice to know one can still get things repaired rather than have to spend money on new items all the time. Door to door service and the one year guarantee makes AMI a quality choice.

I needed to have some insulation blown into my otherwise empty attic. Howard gave a fair estimate. The workmen were prompt, very clean and had me inspect the work after. I was satisfied.

After failing an ESA inspection I needed an electrician to rewire my house and remove my old knob and tube wiring. I called 6 electricians and had 3 estimates done. Antonio of Java electric left me with the best feeling that my house would be in good hands. Now that the job is done, I want to stress that the reviews I saw here on homestars were not exaggerated in any way shape or form: - The work is of the highest quality. No corners are cut. Every outlet/fixture is clean and thoughtfully-placed. - The price was very competitive. Antonio's estimate was quoted to me tax-in and was on budget after 4 days of work. They did some extra work running phone lines and coax cable and didn't nickel and dime me for it - it was well-appreciated. - The team was very respectful of my home. Drop cloths were used on wood floors, the house was fully vacuumed each day and items where more with care to prevent damage. - They're just nice guys. Antonio and his guys - Pavel, Laureano and Junior - were nice to talk to and patient when explaining each step to a layperson. To anyone looking to have work done, do your research but I've no doubt that Java Electric will be your best choice.

Some co-workers recommended El Cheapo and I was not disappointed. The two workers showed up on time and ready to go. The move from our apartment to the new house took less than 2 hours and they were polite and professional. A very positive experience.
