We had a cherrywood dining room table my parents had bought in 1955. Since then it had been in plenty of moves, refinished once, spent years in bright sunlight. We asked Ron to restore it and to make the colour and finish compatible with some chairs that had a completely different provenance. He did a wonderful job: the finish was perfect, the damage to the table repaired as much as possible, and a colour chosen that showed the grain beautifully and gave the table more poise and elegance than it ever had, even when brand new. And it came in at exactly the price estimated.
