Last August 2019, I needed to get rid of a heavy all-glass desk/table! So I called up various junk removal services who would not give me an estimate of cost! So then I tried "1 800 Rid Of It" and the employee on the line was super helpful and super kind! She answered all of my questions and even did her best to give me an estimate for the work. She made this whole thing easy and left me with confidence to do it. So I booked a date (August 13) and when Kevin (and buddy) showed up, they too were super friendly and nice! I don't know how they got that huge heavy item out of my place but they did it with grace and charm. They were very delicate and worked slowly and methodically. They managed to get the job done in no time and my headache was gone! Thank you to "1 800 Rid Of It" from the phone line operator to the actual people who come to pick up, everyone was helpful! Great experience overall!

My old boiler (furnace) broke one Saturday morning in October 2019. Enercare refused to come the same day and Reliance said "No" too. Then I called Dupont Heating, and Louie arrived just a few hours after calling. The fact that he came and the other 2 bigger companies didn't said a lot to me about "customer service"! Louie fixed my problem with such incredible knowledge and confidence of heating equipment! Anyway, I then soon decided to replace the boiler and my water heater since they were both over 20 years old! Louie made everything easy and stress free for me. His crew came in and got rid of all the old stuff and put the new boiler and new water heater in with ease, and all under a day's work! The workers that came were all professional, kind, helpful and amazing too! They did everything and they had everything under control. And my new boiler is actually a lot more efficient than my last one and yes, I have saved money and gas as well!

I called Yaron last spring 2019 because my downspouts (eavestroughs) were loose and making so much noise when heavy winds came. Yaron came quick and gave me various options to choose from. He fixed the 2 downspouts same day in a short period of time, and they are as good as new now!! I will say that Yaron was super nice, kind, considerate, professional, knowledgeable and an easy going guy to talk to as well. I enjoyed the whole experience working with him.

Peter renovated 2 main rooms in my home this year. He put down some brand new laminate flooring in just a very short period of time. Everything was done immaculately and efficiently with much accuracy. Job well done! Always professional, Peter is highly knowledgeable and very easy to talk to about any project. I should know. He has worked on a variety of projects in my home (inside and out) including painting my front porch, renovating my garage, and putting down vinyl flooring too! This amazing contractor is just out of this world. He is reasonable and trustworthy too! And stress-free!

I was hesitant in contacting a "junk service removal" company for various reasons, but when Steven and Trumell entered my home this past summer to remove my ancient old dining room set, I was so pleased I called Just Junk! They managed to get everything out of the home with no scratches or damage to anything! They were 2 super nice guys who worked quickly and efficiently. They knew exactly what to do. They were amazing! Kind and courteous, they erased a hideous eye sore from my home in under 30 minutes! Everything went as planned if not better. They exceeded my expectations!

I have used Scott's Painting before and it was an easy choice to go with Scott again. My old dining room had cracked walls and old oil paint and Scott transformed it to an ultra modern room! He did the walls, ceiling, door, window area, trimmings and more! Always professional and a hard dedicated worker, this Jazz/Folk music loving painter listened to all my concerns and needs and carried through with utmost perfection and elegance! Scott is very knowledgeable with his craft. In the past he has even painted experimental projects for me (such as ceramic wall tiles). Scott is never judgemental with my ideas but instead he is very supportive of all my plans providing me with a fresh positive outlook! Two more things...Scott is very trustworthy...I totally trust this guy with my property....and did I mention, the guy is like super, super nice! Totally one of a kind!

My medicine cabinet was old and the mirrors needed replacing. I contacted a few glass companies and they all turned me down for one reason or another (example: some would not come over to install or pick-up; some would not do glass orders with metal backing). Anyway, I contacted Apex, and they had no hesitation and no issue with anything. Apex picked up the mirrors, replaced them and returned to install them! The new mirrors look great! The only reason I did not give Apex a top rating of "10" is because the task was supposed to take 2 weeks and instead it took over 2 months!

My door in my home had a loose door handle and lock. Dani quickly came to look at it. He gave me various options of what could be done. Dani was able to replace everything during the same visit including getting the new parts, doing the labour, and making sure everything was clean and ready. He knows his stuff and my door now looks and works awesomely! And Dani was super nice and super efficient as well!

It was the coldest day of winter and my toilet could not stop leaking water into the bowl. So I first called a company (that has a cute baby in their ads) that told me they could only come the next day since they were all booked. So I found Mr. Rooter and Brian M arrived in just a few short hours. He quickly found the problem, changed the part, and made everything run smoothly. Brian knew his stuff and did everything in a very gentle yet clean way. I was happy by how fast everything was done from call to finish (and this is during a time when everyone was having pipe issues because of the cold). I was impressed!

After having awful luck in finding a real, honest and decent painter, Scott came by and saved the day! Not only did he quickly come by for a visit, but soon after he responded with an estimate. Throughout the project, Scott has been punctual, professional and somewhat of a perfectionist too! He painted many aspects of my home including ceilings, walls, doors, and trimmings. I felt safe leaving my home to Scott everyday. When I asked him to fix or enhance something, he quickly did it with no hesitation or argument. I also got a "colour consultation" with Scott and the colours he suggested were stunning! Scott is easy to talk to and very welcoming in his attitude towards his work. Everything I wanted him to focus on he miraculously remembered it all! He totally revolutionized my home!

I contacted Carter Electrical because I needed various light fixtures put up in my home. In a day or two, John came by and was punctual and professional and he did an awesome job with all the lights. He was knowledgeable, gentle and quick. In no time, everything was replaced that needed replacing. He also took some time to look at my electrical box as well, and he answered fully any of my questions and concerns.

I needed someone to come to my home and to assemble a TV stand for a 50 inch plus TV. It was hard to get a handyman to come in just before the Christmas time. I called Eureka and they sent Ariel. He was on time, read the instructions carefully, figured what to do exactly and quickly put the whole thing together. I just don't have the patience and will to do these things myself. It drives me crazy. I'm so happy Ariel did the job for me instead. He did everything with utmost perfection!

Taras is my saviour! My glass shower door for the bathroom was installed by some "fly-by night" company (brought to me by my contractor at the time). It took him weeks to install a glass door and after, I discovered that it wouldn't open and had other flaws. I called the man up and guess what, his phone was "out of service"! I contacted a variety of glass/window/door companies asking for help and guess what, they weren't interested in fixing someone else's mistake! Along came Taras! He not only came in the next day to help me, but it was only a day or two before Christmas as well. He not only figured out what was wrong, but he showed me with great detail the flaws in the door. He explained what needed to be done and he quickly fixed the door. The door is beautiful now! Wow! Taras earned my respect on that day and guess what…I had a merry Christmas after all!
