THEIR RESPONSE BELOW IS NOT THE TRUTH AT ALL AND NO MONEY WAS REFUNDED. BEWARE!!! - PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING - I have been involved in the construction industry for over 25 years and Brampton Hardwood Flooring has to be the most unethical trade I have ever dealt with. I purchased over 2,300 sf of walnut hardwood flooring from Brampton Hardwood Flooring and please read the below 2 major issues/problems I had that hopefully will keep you away: 1)The samples and products in the showroom will not be the same as what is delivered to your home. In my case, the quality and lengths were not to what Vandana and John sold me and what I saw in the showroom. I have to stress here that the quality (joints, milling, finish, consistency) of their product is inferior to what you can get at other stores. 2)They also push you to use their installers for two reasons. One so the installers do not reject the material delivered and two so they can take cash under the table from their installers. My installer Steve admitted to handing cash back to Vandana/Brampton Hardwood Flooring. I spend many many hour trying to resolve these issues with Brampton Hardwood Flooring with no result. I guess their policy of paying 100% of the bill before delivery works very well for them. I will be adding pictures to this post so please stay tuned. I also agree with other posts that they should probably be investigated for unprofessional, unethical practices. Thanks for reading. Brian

Hi Brian. Sorry that it took us a while to look into your concerns. The slight delay was due to the long 2-year lapse of time since your purchase. We had not heard from you and therefore assumed that everything had been resolved to your complete satisfaction. You will recall that you came to see us 2-years ago seeking some walnut flooring. You were shopping on price point due to budget constraints and we therefore provided you many less expensive options to choose from. You ultimately selected a country grade walnut floor from one of our showroom samples. Country grade has more grain and closed knots than the more expensive premium grade walnut. Average board lengths are also slightly shorter, although due to the relatively smaller heights of walnut trees, even in premium grade walnut flooring the board lengths average only 3-4 feet maximum. You indicated that you did not mind and chose the lower grade as it was approximately 40% cheaper. Your concerns arose after commencing installation because when you tried to get the equal of a premium product at the lower price point. The flooring we provided was an exact match to our showroom sample and of excellent quality. However, when your contractor (we are only a retailer and do not install floors) was installing the flooring you had him pick through the material to only use the longer boards with less grain and closed knots. This obviously resulted in a shortage of material and surplus that you then wanted to return to us. Notwithstanding that we had fully completed our end of the bargain and were under no obligation to do so, as a good faith gesture to ensure a positive customer experience we offered to take back all of the flooring that you had improperly rejected and even waive our restocking fee. We did not hear back from you and therefore assumed at the time that you were satisfied, and we are therefore quite puzzled as to why you would now choose to leave this negative feedback so long after the fact. In any event, we hope that over the last couple of years you have enjoyed the beautiful walnut flooring you purchased from Brampton Hardwood Floors.
