We called The Home Improvement People to renovate our basement laundry room. We live in an old Victorian home with a challenging basement layout, to say the least (exceptionally narrow staircase leading down to the basement and very low ceilings). Our laundry room was anything but functional until Trevor, Chris and the rest of the crew got to work. They were pleasant to deal with, always happy to listen to our concerns, and made the extra effort to get it done in a timely manner. Phillip and Elia were very helpful in getting the most out of our basement at the consultation phase. Our basement is proof that they can handle even the most awkward and challenging renovation requests. We are incredibly pleased with the work done and would highly recommend them.

After discovering a dead animal (and foul odour) behind our walk-in closet walls, we had Rick remove and replace the drywall and install new custom closet shelves. The quality of his work is excellent. We are thrilled with our new closet. Rick is hard working, on time, and has a very pleasant demeanor. Will hire him for future work.

We had Oborne Contracting do a kitchen renovation and were satisfied with the work he did for us. We were pleased with the cabinets he installed and were also pleased that the area was kept neat and clean throughout the project. John, himself, is a very personable guy.
